Service

Antibody is purified from a variety of sample matrices (ascites, blood plasma or conditioned tissue culture fluid) to yield pure antibody ready for use in your important experiments or your manufactured product. IPA offers a full spectrum of purification procedures for isolation of specific antibody from serum, ascites fluid, and culture media.

Protein A/G Chromatography: High yields of pure IgG can be obtained using Protein A or Protein G chromatography, which differ in their ability to bind antibodies of different origins and subclasses. Both are rapid, reproducible and amendable to scale-up, and are effective in aseptic purification strategies.

Ammonium Sulfate Precipitation: Ammonium sulfate (AmmS) is widely used in isolating antibody from a variety of species.

Polyethylene glycol (PEG): PEG is used in enriching antibody from a variety of species and is believed to be a more gentle approach compared to AmmS.

Batch records and extensive SOPs support all activities.

Materials needed from client:	Ascites, tissue culture supernatant or hybridoma clone for culture.
Total project time:	Depends on starting material. 1 week for purification and shipment prep.

Confidentiality

IPA maintains all information under the strictest confidentiality. All information and/or materials supplied by the client will be used as directed. Upon completion of the project, all materials will be either returned or disposed of as directed by the client. IPA is willing to execute confidentiality agreements with its clients.
